After some modifications
to weaving equipment, Ian is now producing decorative wallhangings
using the macrogauze technique developed by Peter Collingwood.
These wallhangings are being produced with acrylic
yarns, stainless
and galvanized
steel rods with a robust
hanging system.
Woven widths
are up to 1 metre, and lengths can be up to 10 metres.
Dimensions
shown in file names are in centimeters.
For instance: Design33_140x48x13.jpg
indicates a length of 140cms, a width of 48cms and a depth of 13cms.
Only the 3d works have a depth value.
Design34_250x56.jpg indicates
250cms length by 56cms width, and is woven as 2d.
